We were located in Scenic Gatlinburg of East Tennessee for the past 5 years. We owned and operated two stores and enjoyed the time spent with tourists and locals that frequently visited our stores. Our business was truly family owned and operated where our children worked countless hours perfecting the art of hand poured candle making. We enjoyed this time with our friends and family where our children learned to make our signature candle as well as learn the day to day operations of running a successful business and interacting with customers. Since then our children have grown up and have taken on their own careers and adventures. With sickness in the family and being so far from our loved ones here in Middle Tennessee, we attempted to run our business from afar. Being over 400 miles from our business was hard and we decided to sell our stores and take care of our family.  Unfortunately we were never paid for our store and there are still retailers in the same location living off our hard work.

We had such an outcry of past customers and clients wanting the “Original” More Than a Candle, we decided to go back in business and build a new online store so that our customers near and far can still purchase those Natural Soybean Candles and we will even package them with care and ship them to your door.

Our candles, made from natural American raised soybean, are made the same way, hand poured with the 100% cotton wicks that burn cleaner, to reduce the carcinogens, and at lower temperatures to make the candles last even longer with more scent from beginning to end.  They are also water soluble and biodegradable.
